ugh...that blows ***! Guess i just gotta suck it up and keep at it...what kinda cardio should i be lookin' at though?? I can't run for too long, not so much because of endurance but i have a busted knee from sports that begins to ache after a while. I don't have access to an eliptical and no pools near by that i trust.

Believe it or not, walking for 3 minutes and running for 1 minute works just a LITTLE bit less than running for 4 minutes.. depending on your speed.. Walking is really low impact. Depends if a 1 minute run will damage your knee.. Try to avoid hills, as up hill + down hill running is higher impact then straight grade.
Hell, you live in Cali, go swim some laps, it'll help your upper body alot too. Start biking? Biking is insanely good for you :P

I've tried 6 pairs of shoes, all over $200 all specifically for running and all custom fitted. ATM I've got custom built insoles, tried running on those in a special shoe, got splints, so now I'm down to this method
Stretching is something I always do before+after workouts.
My calf muscles are freaking huge because I'm a viking, I need to build up tendon strength. Splints occur when the muscle tissue tugs on the tendons attaching them to the bone, and creates micro-tears in the tendons.. Slowly working my way up from 3 min walk 1 min run to 2/2 then 1/3 ETC..
Tubing: thanks for the input. I used to have shin splints when i was in high school too. Hurts like a bitch...i couldn't even walk some days. Lucky for me though it was just my shoes that were incorrect. I took a short break then went back at it with the correct shoes and i was ok. Sucks to hear tho.

Eazy- John is a Veteran. He went to Battle didnt make it back. But at least he went.
Its crazy how they give away "VETERAN" status to military members once they get deployed to Iraq, serve 3 months.. and then return. Because we are supposedly at war with "terrorism" which exists everywhere, not just Iraq. **** makes me sad
So many untrained military soldiers getting sent to Iraq... unknown territory... with terrorists that are way more experience in RPGS, BOMBS, Cave running
, Shooting in General. Its pointless in having the best Military Technology in the world if you are sendnig untrained soldiers to fight a war that we cant win.

Renny: The only thing that handles better and more power than an 8 .. within the same budget $30k-$40k.... is a EVO, SUBY, S2K, 350z, ... well actually everything. But none are as sexy as the 8.
