Joe you mean the window side deflector? The main use was for keeping rain out of coming in when the window is rolled down. A universal product pretty much, nothing meant towards looks but it doesn't look too bad on the 8.

sweet, now the next question is do the rear itty bitty windows have deflectors?

 

I thought about the roof one but, it throws the look off too much IMO and I don't like it. I just set the roof window to open, then set it to close until it moves all the way up front to cover the front area and then stop it right there. This way it stays open, angled to let air out and rain/wind can't get in to add to the drag.

 

Yeah but I want the real ones that say Mazda on it like danny's. 100 bucks on ebay.

They should make them for the fenders. Fender flares!

 

I don't think they do. The way the window opens and the angle it's near impossible for it to do any good unless the deflector is freaking huge to cover that gap. Plus the window opens towards the rear so the design would essentially almost be collecting wind and dragging you if they did this. Since the window can either be only opened at a fixed angle, or closed I doubt they have this. But hey, who knows.

Just like my deflector on my roof says Mazda. Djcharlies said Mazda too.

 

I even have a rx8 official accessories catalog that has the side deflectors too. They also say Mazda on them

i'm not bettiing that it says mazda. for all i know he sharpied that **** on there (danny wouldn't do that but you get my gist). It has to be genuine mazda.
