yeah, kind of a busy morning here as well. I spent most the morning typing up the dyno day thread.

I got till about 10:30 am then just gave up and haven't done anything since.

thanks Rev: took me forever to format it, etc. I had most of the info typed up on a Google Wave that MM, SRMotorcars, BHR, and I had used to plan out the event but then had fun transferring everything over.

awww, c'mon Rev, you gotta do it at least once. It's fun to see where you stand AND can even help you realize there might be something wrong with your car when in fact you thought it was running perfectly.

example: Newcastle put his car on the dyno last year and was short over 20hp from where he'd dyno'd the prior year. I've ridden in and driven his car, (mod wise we're nearly identical) and I would never have known he was over 30whp below my car.
He talked with MM for a while after we took his car off the dyno and we came up with a few possible things that might be wrong with his car.

Yeah 2 more numbers!!! I need a new ss card my mom lost mine and I need the card. My boss called me and was like I figured out why the computer was saying you have pending forms. If I don't get this done by Friday I'll bd termintated permently from the system. I might lose my job.

 

I do not have an AP...ya add me to the list maybe we can find all my lost hp and torque...ahahah

first time I ever dyno'd all I had was the RB intake + duct, RB exhaust and fresh wires/plugs.
I put down 190 whp.

no, that actually wasn't my intention, I was just trying to give you guys an idea of where you might end up.

I actually have all the results of that dyno day posted in an old thread if you guys are interested. It's funny to look back at it because that was back before anyone was doing engine tuning, just trying to get HP out of bolt-ons. (which one guy did break the 200 whp mark with)
