So my friend was picking up his turbo2 swap last night at JRX, and guess who's car he found. My rx8 was in the shop, :/ so he asked Juni what was wrong with the car. Turns out that the girl that bought my car took the car to another mechanic and he convinced her the milky substance in the dipstick meant the engine was bad, so they pulled out a perfectly good engine. Turns out the engine he put in it gave out a short time later, then she bought a Mazda reman on, that never ran right. -____- So she finally found Juni and he compression tested the engine and it was way bellow on the compression numbers. So Juni is now in the process of rebuilding the engine. It makes me happy that the owner hasn't given up on the car and finally found a real professional to make it right. I just find it crazy that the car is now going to be on the 4th engine, when it could still be on the original. :[

my bet is she noticed a loss of power because the ignition coils were bad, and the saw that milky substance and panicked

Ive had my eye on that trust me... just trying to decide if its worth it

 

it's good times, heck of rates on the hotel and the vendor lists continues to grow ... there is something for everyone from mild to wild

While granted traveling is nto part of it for me ... sometimes the drive to such a deal is part of the fun

 

Brettly - it's definitely worth it.

The main reason I would go is for the drive since im a few months from 21 which is necessary for vegas... maybe

I would love to do that cruise its a great drive. But I am up at school right now in NorCal and wont be back down until the 13th

 

Well we'll also have the hospitality suite which will be byob and I know I can refrain from gambling

Ok, sorry it's a little delayed. I've been helping my buddy move into his new house.

The Plan

The plan was to meet at the South Side of the Fashion Island parking lot at or around 9AM. From there people can get some coffee or check out cars or just shoot the **** until everyone arrives. From there we will Drive off at promptly at 10AM. I'm not quite sure how far everyone wants to drive up the PCH but I was thinking of going past Huntington Beach a ways maybe to Bolsa Chica or whatever so we can get a good little drive in and then come back around to Huntington Beach for lunch around say 11/1130 on the ish. Lunch will be at The Huntington Beach Brewing Company. Afterwards, we can do whatever, I was planning on being back in Moreno Valley no later then 5. So, here are the particulars in Atilla's Cliffs notes format:
