got the 8 back with the new motor today im so happy. now i want to lower it finally what should i go with mazdaspeed 20mm drop or the progress tech sport springs with 1.5"in the front and 0.8" in the rear.

for 900 you can get a decent entry level coilover. the quality may not be as good as the tokico setup in the end but it will be more adjustable

Springs are ok at best if you want looks. There isn't a spring that has a really good stance IMO. Struts plus springs costs the same as some coilovers. It's your decision.
