I know how to walk in the rain, its the damn parking stops they had in the parking lot were in our eating area was, then huge crowds of people and tables so you couldn't see em lol and to make it worse my dress shoes are those pointy ones so they add like 4 inches of length thats what hit it i went flying and fell in front of all the shows producers. :[

how does trading in a car with body damage work? do they just deduct the amount to fix it? is it better off to just fix it beforehand unless its gonna be a huge pain?

Just trade it in. They will fix it. But of course the trade in value will be lower than a clean car. But is it worth spending the money getting it fixed and only getting, maybe a couple hundred more at trade in?
Just don't let them drop the value to the floor. As in take advantage of you.
