Seph: no...custom work is never fun. There's a huge margin for error - n' considering this is gonna be a socal project, it's gonna be a clusterfuck until we finally figure it out.

rev: yeah, the hood is a tsII. I'm gonna be going to VIP next weekend to get a price check on paint for my kit n' accessories + refurb on the hood. They said they can hook up on price - but i'm hoping (seriously hoping) it's not more than $1200.

The roof piece i'm talking about will match my spoiler There's only one place that has it on their website right now too.

Rory: yeah, i'm aiming more for show w/my car. I don't frequent the track but i do canyon runs every once n' a while. Basically i just wanna look good no matter the situation - parkin' lot pimpin' or canyon carvin'

Adam: He had never driven them before so John drove Paris's 8 while he sat shotgun so he could get a feel for the run.

Adam: +1 w/rory - i don't do canyon run's at night (poor vision) and i don't like leading canyon runs ESPECIALLY when i don't know the terrain/course.

The mountains out here are awesome most of the year (if not all year around) Here's one canyon cruise that i recorded.

damn looks like a lot of fun till. What was your average speed and did you speed up the recording a bit. The passing cars look like their moving to fast.

yeah, i sped up certain parts of the vid but some were actual speed.

i did it so it can maintain the same pace throughout the vid.

i wish i would've caught the canyon cruise that we had when riwwp was down here. That **** was awesome! we took a back route n' it lead to wayyy more twisties

My average speed was 65-80. It was a highway so most of the turns were highspeed - it was also 6am in the morning when i started so the road was practically mine until about 7:30. At one point i took a swooping turn at 90mph. I thought my tires were gonna give but they stuck to the ground like glue.

very nice looks like mad fun. I have a nice road in my home town drives through all the farms and what not. I will record it next time i go down. But I normally do a steady 65-95. Its a one lane road with no shoulder hills and turns.

Last time I was doing about 98 and a bmw 5 series decided to pull out in front of me but I was able to break to about 20mph within a handfull of seconds. <3 this car.

If you ever get the chance to come out to Socal you should hit us up for a canyon run. There's a shatload of canyons out here that are always screamin' to get carved.
