I'm flying out to Jersey tomorrow night and going to be spending some time in South Jersey and a couple days in NY.
haha, go figure that this is how you two are able to spend hours on the phone.
Yeah man, these guys are Legit. You know me though, I'd rather drive a bit further and pay a lil' more to have it done right the first time. I'm just a perfectionist about stuff when it comes to my car and I know you are so if you go I think you'll be satisfied.
As for shaving vs rolling: with the roll, you definitely risk having the paint crack or sometimes there ends up with a slight weave near the fender. If you look REALLY close at Tim's rear fender, you'll see that Autobacs didn't do the greatest job and there is a slight inperfection since they rolled the fenders rather agressively.
I will warn you now though, if you do have them roll the fenders you're gonna freak out when they take the heat gun and the guy starts hitting the inside of the fender with the rubber mallet.
They do all kinds of work at that place, I saw them doing a pretty sweet vinyl overlay on a Lexus GS while I was in there getting my wheels done.
Jedi: yah, i was looking into it and i might need a shave on my rears - same with my gf. We talked for a while (go figure this kind of conversation i could have for hours lol) about rolling it but i guess the risk of having the paint chip is higher if i were to roll. I told him i'm down for it but i'll have to see how he'll do it before i give the full ok.

Yea till prolly take us that long to but Id like to do it in 3 just to say that I did.
