martin: pull the fuse, crank the car for about 20 seconds to dry it off (i hope you have the new starter), replace the fuse and crank the car again - it's gonna gargle and have a weak idle so you're gonna have to stomp the gas to keep the idle up. It'll fluctuate but give it some time and it'll level out.

i'll try and find the DIY on deflooding

if your car is an MT, you can just push start it...put it into first gear, keep ur foot on the clutch with someone else is pushing and just pop the clutch out and the car should start right up, itll sound weird at first but then it picks up

push starting it into 2nd is better the car will jerk less then you down shift to first

you dont need to pull the fuse just hold down the gas pedal it cuts off the fuel.
