atilla: yeah, month-end in the Finance biz is NEVER a fun time.

 

Jedi: yeah man, orders are coming in and orders are gettin' out. The problem is trying to justify all the **** that's coming in. Some people just don't understand their own limitations - how the F are you gonna order 30k worth of merch when all your credit standings, references and past historys all say you're good for about 10k AND you still struggle to pay that ****...? I'm seriously about ready to start tellin' people to GTFO w/that ish...

 

yeah, you guys need to keep a very close eye on things like that in today's market. I understand they NEED inventory to sell goods to make money to pay you back but still... you don't need 30k worth of things you probably can't pay back if you can't move it off the shelf.

I see that in the banking biz: people who are struggling to pay their debts, are barely paying their mortgage but yet want to take out $400,000 of equity.
Are you kidding me?!
These deals come across my desk all the time and I can't help but just shake my head.

I'd join you guys but I'm not really a fan of sushi as I'm sure you've noticed. I always end up ordering 'non-sushi' plates such as beef teriyaki or something similar.
