Any of those shows in in socal norcal and vegas is where we will be at.

I gotta talk to the prez of the team about another RX-8. I'm gonna be kitted and fitted by the July qualcom show hopefully. We have one really nice show stopper FD but he rarely comes out, it would be sick to get all 3 of us in there.. we usually have spots for 3-5 cars though, once you get kitted I'll arrange a meet up he pretty chill.

I'm actually hoping to go more track/show versus just show.

 

Yeah, i don't have a choice but to stay show. This car will be my daily driver and showmobile til i give it to my nephew and I get another 8. I won't have much til I'm completely done - and even then it won't even be CLOSE to how gorgeous Ngo's car is but I figure what the hell...after seeing the kinda crap that get's into HIN, I figure why not show up to a couple...

I told Jedi, I think it would be dope if we all showed up to a car show - Iono - I know it sounds like a lil' ricer talkin' here - but I'd like it if we could rep our shizz to the rest of the car enthusiast world...even if it is small events. I'm gettin' kinda tired of seeing either over the top sooper dumb expensive crap that I can't afford (nor would i want to afford) or hondas...(w/the exception of some s2k's and nsx's)


Iono - the thought came to me the other day when i was going through my pic's of HIN last year and saw Sammy's 8 with Photomunkey showing off. Sammy even had a little section in the HIN flyers. I thought that **** was dope.

 

Yea well if you can pay you can get in that's HIN's theory

I'll talk to you more about this stuff offline I got some plans in the works.

 

Yeah, I'm not really concerned about joining a team or anything...I'm more interested in just getting more of us in a show together...

I'm probably not gonna have this car forever so i just wanted to make sure i have some good memories while i still have it

Hey Dozer where did you get that gasket from? the one from the header to the mid-pipe. I'm picking up a grinder today so I can make the same cuts on my mid pipe that you have. I'm also installing some brake pads.

Whats your budget on food? I know a lot of good ish places in Los Angeles that will wow your gf...but it will cost ya! Otherwise, I'd head out to Santa Monica Pier. There are rows of restaurants and its basically an outdoor mall, and at the pier is the typical carnival crap + awesome beach.

 

What you do is go to a very expensive restaurant, order the cheapest item (usually a salad or some appetizer) and say you're on a diet. The girl will feel bad to and get what you're having. That way, you'll save money.
