i remember how we were saying "hmmm, me, john and matt were standing outside your house in our underwear at night and there was cop hanging around looking to make someone take a pap smear? ....Yeah...that actually sounds like it could have happened...."

 

chase: yeah dude, picked it up last night - it was tough bringing that thing home. The box was freakin' huge and i didn't really have any rope.

But cheah, this thing isn't gonna be ready for 7stock - it needs to be refurbed and i don't have the cash to do it right now so it'll probably have to wait til either the end of this year or next year. It'll look sweet though

i have one week leftthen i start 16 units

 

i started school today too. to my surprise i have not seen one rx8 in the 4 different parking lots.
so it seems like im the only rotor head at my college. hopefully i find somebody. haha

A lot of people fall victim to myths and tall tales about the rotary engine. They also get scared off when someone tells them you gotta maintain the car. Most people don't like having to 'maintain' a car - they just wanna make it look nice, sound nice and just get in it and drive - if anything goes wrong, they take it to the dealership to fix - if the dealership can't fix it, it's broken.

I can go on and on about why the majority of people don't wanna buy our cars for superficial reasons but after having this car for a couple of years and meeting a lot of people i have realized that it's kinda nice having a smaller community. Spend a couple years with other car communities and you'll see what i mean.
