renesis: i just have this ****** stupid rough idle that i cant solve so im trying everything lol.

 

Describe this rough idle... besides the fact that it's rough. At this point, I can only diagnose one thing... it's your exhaust bearings.

Seriously though, what else is happening?

 

i dont premix but i think im gonna buy some MMO today and put it in.

but i doubt its that. my idle isnt consistent. after stopping from a spirited drive my rpm goes to about 900 which is the normal idle point but then itll drop like 2-300 rpms and the car vibrates and shakes then it kicks back up. its wierd. i was thinkin fuel pump is going or its just mazdas shitty fuel trims but im just a noob lol

 

Do you have an intake or anything?

We had the same problem with dozer's car, we fabricated a fresh air duct similar to the Racing Beat one, it turned out that it was screwing around with his MAF.

 

i have the MS CAI.

ive been suspecting that aswell but i dont want it to be lol.

should i swap my stock intake back?

 

Did you put the screens into the intake when you installed it? I would pull apart the intake to see if there is oil on the screens.

 

and besides my wierd idle fluctuations, the way i can describe my usual idle is like a wet dog when it shivers like every second lol

yeah i installed both screens. they tend to move a bit though.

and there isnt any oil on them. my throttle body was dirty as hell though but i cleaned it out, didnt help. well the idle issue atleast

I'd try cleaning out the MAF.

I cleaned my MAF and it hasnt helped.

ill just clean it again today and put some MMO in and check my intake and screens.

 

unpaid speeding ticket .....became a FTA.... aka failure to appear, so its gonna turn into a warrant soon, so i need to pay $1000, to clear so it wont turn into a warrant or before my DL's gets suspended... IMM GONNA PAY IT TOMMORROW or WED, but it looks like no more MODZ for me before SS , the ticket that became an FTA was the same sherriff that got me today,! He thought i had got new wheels, and asked me "how can u get new wheels since the last time i pulled you over but not pay ur ticket" I LOLED - and said they were dirty last time, i just washed my car yesterday, dammmm, it woulda sucked if he would have impounded my baby, dam and i had a movie playing also.... stupid ticket... I HAVE AN ANGEL OVER ME....

thats alot. over here if theres a FTA then it instantly turns into a bench warrant.
and your license is suspended.

one time i got an FTA and i got stopped for some reason and they saw the bench warrant and my license suspension and they took me to central bookings spent the night there.

sucks about the mods too.

theyre allowed to pull you over for no front plate???

over here having no front plate is a second offense. so they cant pull you over with that being the main reason.

and yeah you should be careful with watching or even having your screen on.
