yeah, if he's rolling with 2 coils at least, he should be ok. not great, but still functional. I'm not planning on doing their cruise either. Just the bbq, beach and bon fire....

I'm not sure which ones are shot, we actually have two sets of coils (one from nikko which were also ALL shot), we swapped them, mixed and match them, we tried a bunch of different things but it can't hold idle very well...

 

yeaah mine we're bad, but they didnt look it.

 

how did you test them?

 

By sticking a fork in them and starting the car, holding onto the fork, and see if our hair stood up.

We tried swapping the coils around but to no avail, we know the coils are shot because the white bubbling is the worse I've seen on any 8's. And no, it's not a bad motor.

We changed the plugs and wires but to no avail so the last thing to change are the coils.

 

yeah i know theyre going out, my car has 52k and i dont the the coils have ever been changed...my plugs have about 2k on em

 

coils should fix ya up.
make sure to reset the PCM.
