lol - i hate leading too - feels like too much pressure some times when the guy in second flys up on a hard corner.
I would say that if we're gonna be hitting ROTW, we're gonna need some walkie talkies and a decent amount of space in between each car.
I wouldn't mind leading at that point - one strategy would be that if there's 5 of us - we should bunch together when we hit the mountain then spread out - the person in last will slow traffic down a little bit while the rest of us gather some distance - the person 2nd to last will give himself a good 10 car lead before finding a cruising pace then the 3rd guy do the same and so on and so forth - once I'm set about 10 cars ahead I'll give the ok and everybody go at their own pace. We can make periodic stops for pic's and stuff too.

that def sounds like a good idea! who has walkies though, well besides twinx
also...i would like to suggest to keep this as a sunday morning thing - that mountain has unpredictable traffic - and its only one lane on each side meaning traffic and build up quick. Sunday mornings seem pretty dead there so I think that'd be our best shot for a clear run.
no i didnt! duude what!?
for what now? thats redic!
dang no freakin wonder! what did he do now?
anyways, thats not the same if you arent in your 8!
btw mike i'm down to hit up a canyon this weekend for sure! perhaps maybe ortega, gmr, or ach!

Nik: they found out
but cheah, i hit the pacheco pass hwy (aka, bloody alley) in my 8 before - it's pretty dope - long winding turns that you can easily hit triple digit speeds - there's been a lot...and i mean A LOT of fatalities there though
the skid marks from previous accidents are still on the pavement. it's pretty intense. I was scared at first but i hit the corners following a stock porsche boxer so i didn't feel too bad. I figure if he could take a corner at a certain speed, then i should be able to do about the same
lol
