any one no if there is a difference between getting a used older af ss vs getting a new one? i read sumwhere that the new ones are made better or something is there correct?

the bushing on the bottom is different. richard used a few different materials over the years.

newer is better
richard changed the material not just because he wanted to but as an improvement on his original design. (kevlar FTW)

old ones have bushings that can crack.
besides, lots of the earlier models needed to have the shift lock tab trimmed down, no telling if the user did it themselves and shaved too much off.

Mike, does it come with slider/rails? I picked up a corbeau fx1 for that price w/the slider + rails. 7club west fs section is where it's at!

i sold some stuff i didnt need i want the fc too be like in really good tip top shape, but i vowed to not touch my saving or unemployment money, cause that is for my school next semester

no sliders tilt, btw tilt you know were i could get a shifter for the fc cause that is all i really need right now every thing else is ok except for driver seat

mazdatrix has a super legit shifter available, I don't know how much you're willing to spend though...

I say wait for a seat to come up on 7club, unless this one happens to be suuuuuper legit. socal 7club guys are col too

it comes with all new bushings! that alone is worth the price of admission
