Actually, it was the Lakers game + upgrading dozer's comp to Vista Extreme (32-bit version, ftl).

Oh... and apparantly, there are absolutely no drivers for his video card (Radeon 9250) to run on Vista. That means no Aero support for him (it's not like we need it anyways). The good news is that he can use PCI-E x16, he's going to buy a 9800GTX, a great performing and inexpensive card for him to use, plenty of goodness for gamage. He needs more RAM though... good ole 184-pin DDR SDRAM and his mobo can support up to 4GB, it should be uber inexpensive at Fry's. His hard drive isn't fairing too well either, it's loud as hell and it's about to give out. I wanted to install Windows 7 (Build 7100) on his computer but he's not too computer literate so I opted for Vista.

His mobo can support 64-bit processors (775 socket) but he's running a P4 without HT (no HT = 32-bit), at least it's 2.93GHz, that's plenty for all the new games that's coming out.

All-in-all, it's a good system, it just needs a bit more memory and a better video card.

You know what's funny? I installed COD4 on dozer's computer but the fps (frames per second, not first person shooter) was horrible. It was like 1 fps.
