SoCal / Las Vegas Meet & Drive!! August 8-10th
Well we had a great turnout for the friday evening meet. Moved from In & Out to the Gold Coast parking lot. We broke up about 11pm. Saturday was a little strange as I was the only one from Vegas that showed up. Since we waited until 11:30 to get started (waiting for Vegas late shows) I changed the destination to Mount Charleston for a quick drive and lunch at the inn. Everyone enjoyed the temperature drop to 77 degrees. All complained that the road was too straight. Food at the inn was not as good as it has been. No one locally went to dinner with the group on Saturday evening. I hope that they were not too disappointed we did talk up a good time and then did not really deliver.
Vegas guys, thanks for organizing the Friday night meet up and thanks to Phill for showing up Saturday morning for the run. It was sad that more locals couldn't make the drive but clearly Vegas isn't going anywhere so I'm sure there will be many more opportunities.
Dinner was at the Hofbarughause which absolutly kicked ***. I was really happy to meet a lot of the SoCal people and had a great time. Jedi, myself and Tim (who vanished back to the hotel strangely) had a blast.
No doubt some "interesting" pictures, video, and stories will come out as a result.
Till then.....BEER!!!!
It was great to meet everybody that came and it was good to see some familiar faces again, we had a nice little turn out. Even though, there were some of our locals that didn't make it out. Hopefully we can do this again next year, and the turn out will get bigger.

Haha.
I wanted black wheels. I did not want the chrome lip.
And, I like the look/design of the OEM wheels, so for me it was an obvious choice.
BTW - Send me you're contact info, and I'll send you a postage paid DVD for the full-size versions of the photo's.
Thanks again for the amazing pics.
