I never said that I was upset, I only said that the dyno is not correct... I know that the Mustang Dynos are usually underrated but the dyno there for some odd reason favored Automatics and are totally not calibrated. Guess what guys! I got 194.7lbs of torque! How consistent is that?

ohh well not you, razz seemed a bit upset though not sure why. im not mad at all, i had so much fun that day reguardless of what numbers were put it. i had a great time =)

no automatic got more than the manuals, only the first 160 hp run which i beleive was not correct (im not sure what the 2nd and 3rd run put out, i think it was around 130?)

and the paper that said 193 torque was next to the computer after the very first rx8 was put on the dyno. i dont think it was yours? it was from when they were calibrating and setting up the dyno.

besides those two flukes i believe that the numbers seemed at least semi consistent at least for comparing between the cars there.

i believe i got one of the lowest runs. with AP too. lol... i had the 3rd highest when we ran dynojet last year.

Jeff got my car running perfectly right from the get go, so there was no need to change my maps between my runs on the dyno. just back to back in 3 mintues.

yes that dyno was wacky, but the day was worth it for jeff to tune our cars. It was also great to meet ray in person too as i know i'll be ordering parts from him soon. Also, Mr. Yoshiya is an awesome shop owner. when i need things done around here i know where to go now.

I was the fourth person to run and I got 190+ torque... AFTER it was calibrated. Crappy *** Mustang Dyno....

I'm not upset, it was a very fun day and I enjoyed every bit of it (except for the part where I ran out of cigarettes and was bumming it off of people and the super heavy constipation) and I helped Ray work on Phil's car! Yay!

I say we all plan another Dyno Day soon before SSXI. This time, we use a Dyno Jet.

190 torque sounds about right. My guess is you're running 6-7 psi on the greddy turbo. Right?

That sucks about the dyno numbers being inaccurate.

Renesis is a stock RX8.

I saw several bad numbers when each person ran.

I'm not upset and knew that was going to happen before we started. I am disapointed that it did not read the same as other Mustang dyno's.

who cares what the number says? We got tunned and if you belive in those numbers you must be as nieve as an EVO kid.

By the way...

I just call Tustin Mazda and order a 2008 Auto.

I want to do 13's down the straight and kick *** on Sammy and Team Rx8 on the HPDE course.

Then when I'm finished I'm gonna slap ULLOOSE on auto X with all my horse power.

wow, I get some sleep and Razz blows an Apex Seal on my thread.

Here's the deal with the dyno:
Older Mustang Dyno that read VERY low numbers BUT with the exception of the 08 Auto, I believe it to have been CONSISTENT.

M/T's were getting between 120-135.
My first run was only around 129 but after a few different flashes, I pulled 148 hp.

I'll put pics, videos, and summary in a little while.

We won't post dynos here...

Only the improvements in the AP tuninig.

We saw 16hp and ~ 20 hp gain.

Unfortunately we don't know what that gain is over the car without an AP.

For tunning the AP is the way to go.

I saw several RX8 start and blow smoke. Then tuned and ran smokeless.

I still got +100 more torque than you for being near stock.

for those wondering: We had an '08 A/T put down the following numbers

- 156
-160
- 121. <---- I believe that one to be the more accurate of the 3 runs.

Keep in mind, this was early in the day as we were still calibrating things on the dyno.

Razz: dynos will be posted. That's not up for discussion.
