Since we haven't done one there is no way to tell exactly. I'm sure it would be in the 20k range. I won't install a used engine, and it needs a single, ecu, exhaust, full fuel system, blah blah blah blah...

Been good, just busy, The 8 like the cooler temps. Stills runs a bit rich.
We'll get it tuned out some more.

20K for a 20B install is good. last i checked mazdatrix wanted 50K for 20B install. a built 20B though.

Please pardon my ignorance about the 20B thing but, why is this engine so damm costly and thrice as much to install? -Especially an older engine. Please humor me.

Parts aren't too expensive, it's just a lot of labor to rebuild, install and setup. Go ask around to see how much it cost to replace on Apex seal on our 8.

Add in tuning, a standalone ecu, upgraded fuel delivery system, a cradle, fab work, and bigger tires.
