So-Cal_Meet # 2 & OPTIONAL Dyno Day!

Mote & I held a very successful “so-cal meet & cruise” in December & have decided to hold a meet once a month. Each month will be something different & a new location. It gives us the chance to meet fellow enthusiasts all over southern California & have fun at the same time! For our 2nd meet we’ve decided to host a meet at a friends shop in santa clarita w/ an option to dyno your car!

Info on dyno-ing:

The Meet/Dyno Day has officially been booked for January 17th 2009.
This dyno is open to everybody, TUNERS WELCOME!

Everybody will get 3 dyno pulls no matter what. At the last dyno day @ AMS the operator got tired & decided that 2 pulls would be sufficient, I wasn't too happy about this as I'm sure others weren't as well.

The dyno is a "Dyno Jet" & is both RWD & AWD compatible, so if there are any guys with XI's it would be great to have you out to see what numbers you're putting down!

Price:
$60 - RWD
$70 - AWD

The shop is asking for a deposit of $20 to guarantee a spot. You make the $20 Paypal transaction then pay the remaining $40 or $50 the day of the dyno runs.
Please PM me for the Paypal address.

There will be a 15 car max, but we will take names of people beyond 15(no deposit required) & you can show up the day of the dyno and if people flake or we have extra time, you'll get your car dynoed for the same $60 or $70 total.

i just wanted to give everyone a heads up..my original post made it seem like the meet was specifically a dyno day & ppl weren't welcome otherwise.

this edit to the OP is to clear that up & let you all know it will be an all day meet starting at 9AM & ending at 5PM or after the last dyno.

the meet will include bbq-ing for lunch, dyno-ing if you choose, a photo shoot, a canyon run/cruise immediately following the last dyno pull of the day for anybody interested & the meet is literally across the pathway to POM200MPH's shop so if he can make it you'll get a chance to meet an E90post vendor if you haven't had the chance.

Time:
1st dyno run at 9AM.
Last run at 5PM if all goes according to schedule.

Shop:
Yimi Sport Tuning
26524 Ruether Ave, Unit #510
Santa Clarita, CA 91350

PM me for my contact info:

Also I will be BBQ'ing. I promise not to poison anyone, but if you'd like to bring chips, soda or anything else that would be great!

some people pull the room fuse to reset the fuel trims, not really necessary though.
Make sure you've got good plugs, coils, and a clean air filter.

I'd go...but I'm already committed to getting my car on the dyno and a baseline NA tune conducted...

Then this coming SevenStock, I'm going to let the boys (MM,BHR) and myself do the FI install and apparently we might have an on site dyno to tune it and produce the "drop in" install results the same day...

That should be some really nice objective before/after data that people can use...

Maybe next time tho...

I'm gonna be there. I should still have some 103 octane in my tank by then so I'll make one pull and see how much tuning I have left for our other dyno day.

see this way I can see where my numbers are at and tune effectively for the other dyno.. then someone else can eat the marshmallow.

Plus I haven't been on a canyon run for a while with other drivers... Nice I'm getting new rear tires mounted tonight win!!
