I'm seriously considering it. Gonna be a long day for me if I do go, since Thousand Oaks is an at least an hour from OC. Adds 2 hours and 150 miles to the total trip but it still sounds like fun. I think weather will be the deciding factor for me.

 

ill be there, coming from oc (irvine)

 

anyone else going?? i think this would be a great trip. lots of photo ops and great driving.

Any OC folks want to meet up and convoy up to Thousand Oaks?

 

Damn my home town!!! i've been waiting for this moment for a long time. I gotta get someone to cover me for work!

 

After looking at the route, I don't think I will pass up this road tour opportunity. Hopefully I will be able to make it that morning, providing that I will have to stop working on my house improvement and wake up early. Yeah!

 

Waking early... that's the biggest problem. I'm scared I'd fall asleep coasting along the road, enjoying the sound of the rotary.. ack... Hmm

Anyone in the Cerritos/Long Beach area going?

 

Any OC folks interested in meeting up and convoying up to Thousand Oaks?
I suggest meeting at the Park and Ride lot at the junction of I-5 and 91.
From either freeway exit at Magnolia and follow the Park and Ride signs.
We would need to leave there at 6:30 to make Thousand Oaks by 8:00 and have time to get fuel etc.

 

I think you mean earlier.. thought it was a 7am meet up at the Zoo?

 

Griffith Park is optional for anyone who wants to meet up before the TO start point. It's really not necessary to stop by there if not wanted or running late.

Mapquest has the travel time from Fullerton to Thousand Oaks at 1hr 5min with a distance of 64miles. Leaving at 6:30 should get us to the starting point about 20 mins before the starting time.

 

I've decided i'm just gunna show up before the drive so i can see what you'll are driving, i really wanna see your guys cars. So i'll see you guys at 8 am but i wont make the drive. see ya then
