Does anyone know of a good self-service car wash in or near San Jose? I live in an apartment building that doesn't allow car washing in the parking lot, so I have no choice. I stopped by Don's Car Wash on Lincoln Ave. in San Jose, which seemed pretty nice. Anywhere else?

 

I use Don's all the time. 9 quarter is the minimum. They keep the place pretty clean as they have a couple of attendents on the grounds.

 

I calculated how many times I'd be sticking 9 quarters in the machine to do everything I want to do (wash, claybar, wash, Zaino). It comes out to about $15! So I bought a hose and a spray nozzle for $14 and I'm going to sneak a car wash in front of my apartment building this Sunday. The leasing office is closed, so I'm hoping if I get started early and don't disturb any of the tenants, I might get away with it. If I get just one wash in before they shut me down, I figure I'll still have saved a dollar. :D Technically I won't be in the parking lot. I'll be on the street, so maybe they won't send me to carwash jail.
