I just wanted to say an official hello (if they are on this forum) to whoever was in the black '8 that I waved to on Vine near Santa Monica at appx 5PM on Friday the 3rd as they pulled up beside me in a turn lane.

 

I was in LA this past weekend. Did the 8 you saw have plates on it?

 

Couldn't see. The black was turning left a block before Santa Monica on Vine, and I was going straight in the left lane. I was stopped at a red light, and the black was pulling up next to me. The light changed and I started going before the guy got next to me got to the line. I happen to see the familiar shape in my side view, so I ducked my head a little to see the driver, and I stuck my hand out the window and waved. He gave me the thumbs up as I pulled away.
