I just got back!

I met Phil there in the Euro room NOT REPRESENTIN with the 8... shame shame shame!!!

But I parked 2 blocks from the event in case the haters got an urge to hurt cars (heard this is a more or less common occurance at import shows) so I can't exactly say I showed off the 8 but man I could swear my nearly stock car was nicer than 15% of the random lightly modded cars there...

I got pics but I gotta find a host & upload em all... about 100 pics in all... only ONE (1) SINGLE RX8... titanium w/ the MS front & rear bumpers... mostly stereo mods beyond that.

Oh & yes... the chicks were hot.

Yeah, kinda sucked how there was only 1 RX-8 there. Oh well. I was looking for other RX-8's in the parking lot but I only found one: a Titanium. I was guessing it was Murix's. I parked far away too coz we went there almost 7pm. The parking lot was already a car show :D

Sweet rides inside, but kinda surprising how they didn't have any Skylines there. They had a bunch of Skyline wannabes though (ie civics and integras). Nicely done too.

I took a pic of the Mercedes there that had RX-8 headlights. It looked nice in there but the car as a whole was crap.

The titanium was probably mine in the parking lot...

wow u guys have guts to bring your rx8. last year i went and a couple people were in the front parking lot walking by kicking tires setting off alarms and leaving trash on people's windshields. i dont even wanna know about those people that envy and key or dent another's car...

yea true that... cars there were pretty much body-ED up! i couldnt tell what the car was...using s2000 lights, skyline lights, everything was wacked out!

this mercedez beats them all! i don't know why they would be selling this nice car in the first place...it did come with the smallest doors i've ever seen!

lol i did sort of feel sorry for those guys out on the lawn showing off their cars. all throughout the show sitting at those benches keepin it squeaky clean and keepin an eye out for those that would mess with it. they didn't really get to enjoy the show!

i took a shot of this big mazda banner on stage ...any of you know how mazda was involved in the show? i didnt see a whole lot of mazdas...

Heheh, I thought it was kinda lame how Mazda didn't represent their cars very well aside from the big banners. I think they paid hell of a money to get those banners exposed that they couldn't present their cars anymore. There was one portion where there's the Mazda 6 and 2 Miatas (rag and hardtop), and the other ones were spread out. Any of you notice how many Z's there were? Damn, that place was packed with modded Z's!

I felt sorry for those presenters too. I came in at 7pm and all their faces were already tired and bored sitting around just guarding their cars. I hope they had the chance to look around as we did coz they had to pay extra money to get their car in on the first place.

Oh yeah, it was a risk I brought my RX-8. Next time, I'll be driving my Solara there :D The next day, I noticed that my 8 had water spots all over the rear left quarter (bumper to the door) which seemed like someone sprayed water on my 8 or something. Damn those jealous kids. Some Civic drivers were giving me the bad look, while the WRX and Evo guys were pretty cool.

There was this Golf GTI trying to impress me or something on my way home thru 280. He was pacing me at 85mph, then he lit up his blue underneons. So I dropped my speed to about 75 just to show him I'm too scared of his neons. Then he dropped speed too to keep pacing me. Jeez, the attention you get with this car huh?
