very nice Phil. So subtle.

HAHAHAHA!

I am a longtime SD rotary fixture. We just had a meet n greet today. FIVE people were there. I was the only 8. We had a first gen, a gorgeous red FD, an FC, and me. We would really like more 8s there. There's a thread on this but I got so sick of looking retarded bumping it every month. IT's the first saturday of every month in Pt Loma.

Where in Pt Loma, and at what time? I wouldn't mind cruising down for one of these.

First Saturday of every month. It's at the old Navy base off Rosecrans which is now a gigantic public area with a lot of cool restaurants and parks called Liberty Station. We meet up at one of the parking lots and walk to a restaurant.

OK Rotorheads,

Get your trannies in gear for this Saturday. You may have an "8", and a lot of us others may have a "7," but they both have rotary engines! That's the draw.

As UrbanO noted, we may have the Cosmo out. There is even a REPU (new member) expected!

It's not that difficult to find us. Check the Forum listings and the MeetUp.com listings.

Hope to see some (more) "8" peeps out this weekend.

Check the meeting notice below.

Great turnout today. So much fun to see Junirol roll up in his lightning yellow. hell yeah. I wasn't the only 8!!!

We also had a white FD and a bone stock 1991 white FC that only has 52K miles on it. Seller looking for a buyer who is the original owner; drool-inducing.

End of month we are talking about going up for Atilla's barbecue/park hangout.

oh snap! you should call Jim Hromoda for help diagnosing and maybe fixing the problem. He works on 7s and 8s and he is VERY reasonable. Shop is in Spring Valley area. 619-402-8147.

OK guys, lets start to increase attendance at the monthly meets!
Listen to the lady!!!

Don't worry about who may or may not show. If YOU come, that is one more
RX-8 representing the marque!

Back in 2004, just after the introduction of the RX-8, we, the "7" crew, sort of
barged into the RX-8 event at John Hine Mazda. Eventually got the nod from the
Manager and actually had an invite. We even brought one of our own RX-7
owners, Simon, who who had recently purchased an RX-8 as well. It' the BLACK
one in the group shots. Heck, we even got a 20% discount on Mazda parts -
anything.

Check out the RX-8 Showcase that John Hine had back in the early days, and the
"7s" that represented. Jeeeze, was it 9 year ago????
RX-8 Showcase
(Presented by John Hine Mazda.)

See ya there,
John

Oh yea, keep an eye open for an announcement of the Coronado Speed Festival
in September and a consolidated effort of rotorhead mania!

San Diego peeps, heads up on Coronado Speed Festival. It is Sept. 21 and 22. We usually go on the Sunday when the actual races are held. We have a Mazda car corral space set aside just for our club. Come on out! There will be an official Miata MX-5 cup race that will be shown on the Speed channel that day as well. I love vintage Porsches and there are plenty who run and show off their 356s at this event.
