Question San Diego/Decent Mechanic Search

I am looking for a decent place to service my 2004 rx-8, 6sp GT. Until now I have been using John Hine where I purchased the car, but have not been feeling any love from them, just over stated maintenance service schedule and not honoring their promise to me at least. So any recommendation in the greater SD area will be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks

John Hine does good work but no, I have no love there either even if my service rep and I get along great. They will do all the warranty work without blinking until its a big ticket item.

If you're looking for a non-dealer shop, I use Thomas Bros. on Clairemont Drive and he's done right by me, although admittedly I chose them because I live around the corner.....

Wink

Thanks fellows,
I am quiet close to clairemont so I may give them a try, as OC is a bit far given the price of gas and all.
