San Diego 8s
hey, there seems to be a bit of a buzz going around the forum about mazdafest...
...anyone going? cuz i'm not 100% as of yet because of my work schedule, but with two days possible, chances are good i'll be going! i think it'd be kinda cool if we had a bit of a convoy up there. just a thought!

Yeah I was wondering about this. I was planning to go but then I signed up for driving school instead, so I don't know if I'll have the funds for this too. And it's on the day of our regularly scheduled local meet. So are we still going to have our meet here on the 21st?
Hey San Diego 8s, I finally got my parts and had them installed. Here is a preview of what my car looks like now. You will like it better when you see it in person on our next regularly scheduled meet. Enjoy. I know I am!!!!
Oh, and I got the Fender Strakes and the Chrome door handles.

So I Zaino'd my car yesterday and it looked so good, I decided to go for a fun ride today.
A friend who rides motocycles told me about this road in Fallbrook called De Luz Drive.
I drove up there and it was amazing. The road was all twists and curves and included quite a bit of ups and downs. I must have taken a wrong turn because all of a sudden it turned into a dirt road. I turned around and turned back on the road. I thought there was a shorter way back so I turned on my Nav system and told it to take me back to the start (on S. Mission Rd.) OMG, that Nav system has a wierd sense of humor. It started taking me on single lane roads and then tried to turn me onto a locked and gated private road. I turned off the Nav and just doubled back the same way as I came out.
All in all, a good day.
