San Bernardino meet auto Cross thread.
I think I heard something about the speedway charging way too much for events, so they had to stop. I think. Could have been another region though. Their schedule shows them using various stadium lots, I've heard their events are quite fun. Getting to a Vegas event is on my to do list as well.

Last time I checked Vegas was closer to Fontana than Yuma.
No way I would drive 300 miles unless it was a multi-day/national event.
So you SB guys doing the Sunday autox? I'm on the fence, but could be convinced to go...
Edit: I forgot it's Vegas. The autox would just be a side trip!

Without an average of 2 events a month within 30 minutes of your front door, your perspective gets kind of skewed...
Drove 3 hours each way to Phoenix 3 times this years for 9 total minutes of seat time. Got to feed the need.

BSP is 5th run (1st after lunch) and 7th work group.
Figures that STU would be in the morning on the last two events since I switched classes.....they were last run/work groups the first 3/4 events.

I'm due for my 30k service. If I can get that done this week and get my less crappy tires mounted in time I'll come up. Think I'll run in BS where I belong though.

On the upside, I owned the champion's time when he drove my car during fun runs. (anxiously awaiting funny/ownage comeback from champion).

LVR use to have great two day events. You ran two times each day, 4-6 runs per group. They could not afford two day events at the speedway or bullring so they went to one day. They have a new site, Boulder PD site, and they are going to start having more two day events. The bummer is they only have like one more day event, June, before they go to the night events and smaller sites.

Was wondering what took him so long... I'll give you the point about one attempt, but you hauled me in your car too and was still in the 57's if I recall. I'm a little concerned about the time difference... you can only blame crappy tires + the extra GT package weight for so much. Hope the car isn't down on power or something.

people with "power loss" have usually found clogged Cats and bad spark plugs. How many miles do you have on your car. I'm at 51 K now, have changed the spark plugs, but still on the stock Cat.

The day at the Lotus club event I tried hard to get your car to go and it would just flat not run the time.
Time to trade it in on an 06 base.

I would like to see ULLLOSE in my car. I would like to see what he thinks of the car. I know he is not a fan of the RB sways, but I would like to see what he thinks about the springs, sways, flywheel, pulleys, all that fun stuff.would be interested to see if he can run faster in my car or his. (being as mine SHOULD be faster running in BSP and all)

Actually, looks like you were at that event: http://www.sdr-scca.com/solo2/result...l-20050910.pdfI got down to a 59.5 in fun runs. For some reason, the tires felt a lot better than they did during the competition runs.
