Wow I guess its just you and me. Strange, I thought there would be more owners on the board from our area.

 

If it counts, I was just up in Sacramento today for work related training....I'll be back there tomorrow.

 

I'm in the sacramento area as well. There're 3 other Rx8's here in Davis; but I don't know if they're part of the forum.

Well its good to know the people nearby. Once there are more of us we can have a little meeting and get together. By the way I just picked up my 6spd Velocity Red tonight. Im still getting used to the close gearing of the car compared to my other manual cars. Keep an eye out on the website for the upgrades that I will be adding to the car in the upcoming months. :D

yea seriously, I get cleaned out 90% of the time. Well its my fault for not stopping when im winning or losing. I replaced my gambling habit with my dumping money in the car habit hehe.

hmm my brother has the rx sometimes and hes in the davis area. Tit grey with clear conners with borla's. he said theres few rx's arounf there too

Hailing from Sacramento (North Natomas). Just bought my RX-8 five days ago. It's a silver automatic with the touring package (not grand) and a spoiler. I'm not a tuner so I plan to leave everything pretty much stock, except maybe getting the K&N air filter (the redesigned one when it's ready for prime time -- see? I already learned something here!).

This is my first post here I'm looking forward to learning more about this great car here.

I'm definitely up for meets.

 

im not exactly in the sac area, but i am with in 30 min of sac, i am all up for a meeting, now all we need is the when and where.

 

I live in Stockton, actually going to be in Sac for the next 2 days for some training.

I would definitely drive up for some Sacto/Davis meets though.

 

Uh Im in Folsom but my 8 was just totalled (wont get a new one till i move back to tx). but if you care all 4 of my neighbors, who all just recently moved in have 8s (weird coincidence).

I've been in Sacramento the last 3 weekends in a row... I have a few family members that bought houses in that area about a year ago. Near Natomas Blvd, north of Arco Arena. May or may not be there again this coming weekend.

 

I am in Downtowm Sac, Sunlight Silver, Grand Touring and all the options. I love this car and look forward to each time I get to drive it. I know this car can do much more than legally, or shoudl I say, a responsible person would do on the city streets. Does anyone know of some tracks around here you can let the car loose and see what it can really do?
I am also looking for a good tint shop in the area, any suggestions?
