Can anyone recommend a body shop in the San Francisco, South San Francisco, San Mateo area. I just got the Tsunami body kit and I'm looking to get it painted and installed in three to four weeks.

haha... i just bought the tsunami kit too

I took mine to a shop called "Premier Auto-body" here in Sacramento.

Its in the shop right now, I just dropped it off today. They seem to be on top of their game quality wise and materials.

I was quoted $900 for paint and install...

but that includes prepping my CF hood and paint for that too.

yeah i was rather surprised.

They are going to sand my hood down and refinish it. Plus its being installed with rivets vs. screws which i like.

 

Sacramento is a long drive for me to drop off a car and kit to get painted and installed. I talked to Auggie from Tsunami and the only shops he could recommend were in Sac.

well, after dealing with these guys. I have to say that I'm teetering on whether i'd recommend them again. They did give me a good deal, but I did have to press them for a deadline and take time off work to go there in person... so that i could tell them to get it done.

quality wise... they did a fair job... wasn't perfect, but shops can only do so much to aftermarket kits.
