i'm leaving to vegas w/my gf right now as soon as i finish getting ready

 

wow....2 days later and nobody has responded???? what's wrong w/you peeps?!

anyways.....i just got back home from vegas....well, work technically. after i dropped off my gf at her house, i had to go straight to work, and i'm just barely now getting back from work. and yes, i realize that i'm posting this at 8am w/o any sleep at all. doing the work i do doesn't really have a set schedule.

the trip to vegas was pretty cool. on the cajon pass, it was snowing quite a bit on the way up to vegas. kinda scary when there's slush on the roads, haven't driven in snow before, and it's completely dark. on the way back, it was snowing again, but it was light out, there wasn't any slush, and we pulled over to take some pix really quick. the camera we used wasn't a digital camera, so we all have to wait until those pix are developed and scanned into my computer for me to post up the pix of the snow .

Aha yeh i know, i tried to make the last meet by mt sac but didnt know the time either, aha. I just went there around 4 and chilled there for awhile then just left. Aha, well see you at the next one then maybe! Aha, my girl is in San Diego, i thought we had a long distance relationship but Vegas! ... Aha, you got me beat

 

^^ lol....no, my girl isn't in vegas, she lives out in pomona, i'm in ontario. not even 20min. away from me. we just went to vegas just to check it out for ourselves

So you guys goin to the meet this saturday? There is supposedly another one in March headed up by Torgue Pirate at the Krikorian in Chino which is a couple minutes from my house. Not sure on the date or whatever though. Heh oh and remember that supercharged rx-8 i posted earlier from the D1 Irwindale drift show? Well i found another picture i took of the drift rx-8 driven by Rod Miller who beat a Faulken sponsored car but lost to the supra.



Got some videos of it on my comp, it was pretty cool. The next one is March 4th!

 

that looks like the one i saw a sevenstock 8 thsi year inside the courtyard. it has that DIFFERENT location of the intercooler?

 

So is there a So Cal RX8 Chapter or is it just guys who get together once in a while? If so who is the contact and what is his # or e-mail address?

So all you ranchoians (?) there is a San Berdoino Meet this saturday at 9:00 rain or shine. Hit up the thread or let us know if you are going.

On another note anybody know of good car washes/waxes perferrable hand done in the area?

 

there is a place off of hermosa and arrow called haven auto wash.

they do great washes for a reasonable price (starting at $10 i think), and i'm pretty sure they wax as well.

just dont go to deer creek car wash off of center and foothill. they dented my car, and didnt want to admit it. it was a minor dent, nothing major so i didnt bother them, but i dont take my car to them any more.

Did anyone else get snow? We had, rain, hail, and snow at our house today. Kids had a blast. KK you must of had some since you're just above me.

 

we had all of the above today, but mostly hail and snow.

towards the end of the day around 6pm, the hail/snow started collecting on the ground and the cars. (as opposed to melting when hitting the ground)

but it was fun, we sled down the top of carnelian, and my younger brother ski'ed down a street

i did manage to get some nice pics, i will be posting them on monday

p.s. the last time it snowed here (where the snow collected on the ground) was about 10 years ago. it doesnt happen to often
