Hello I'm a new owner and would like to be added to the list for events/gatherings. Bought a Titanium grey RX-8, GT pkg. and spoiler a couple weeks ago. Was also wondering if anyone on this board was at Chandler Blvd. and Metro around 11pm Friday night. I honked to get his attention but I don't think he noticed. Tried for weeks to find one on the road to get an opinion on the car. Now weeks after buying it I'm seeing them everywhere. lol

Thanks poolsidenaz Ya a description might be helpful. lol My bad. It was Titanium grey. I wasn't close enough to see if it had any work done to it. I was at the light coming out of the mall by PF Chang's and he was headed west on Chandler Blvd.

I was also wondering if any shops around town carry parts for the RX-8 yet. Live in Phoenix, but like most of us I don't mind driving my car to Tucson if I have to. In fact I would look forward to it.

 

Okay that definitely wasn't me you saw in Chandler then :D What parts are you looking for right now?

 

Add one more to your list. I'm in far north Scottsdale and have a black RX-8 with Touring package. Just got my fender vents back form being chromed to match the chroming on the factory 18." e-mail is rlewis@6dgs.com.

 

I don't really have anything picked out yet. Just wanted to see what was available first hand. I know I would really like a canzoomer but it's only sold online. Don't suppose any locals have one do they? Would like to see it some time, maybe even feel its effects first hand. Anyways gonna pm the person who started this thread to leave an email address. Thank you ahead of time for any suggestions on local shops to check if any.

Welcome to both of you. I'll add you to the list and make sure you get notified whenever we're doing something. We do a lot of informal stuff. I was thinking maybe lunch meet on saturday 5/29 at the scottsdale pavillions? Anyone up for it?

BTW, Vividracing is a great place to buy stuff for your 8. They are awesome to deal with. Mike Huffman (vividracing.com) who works there is an 8 owner and he's an incredible guy.

List updated again. Added a bunch o' rx-8 owners including the tucson folks. Anyone I missed? Also, if you see the ???'s that means I don't know color so if you know and I don't then let me know. Anyone going to the saturday bbq on 6/26?
