Nothing formal, just a chance to get together talk about cars and stuff.

As of this past Monday, this site is blocked at work. I can't get in no matter what link I click that I've used in the past. Crap! Matt please tell Norma "HI Ya!". I feel so out of the loop not being able to access this place from work. By *any* chance did you kats get pics??

I don't know how this got singled out but it sure as hell did Okay when I click any RX8Club.com link it takes me to a page and tells me I'm banned yadda. Then it moves me to another page and says I can ask for re-evaluation on the site and to petition my reasons. I campaigned for reinstatement of access today. C'mon it's a car site! We'll see what comes of it!

I know it's off topic but companies like thier emps to work. Sucks i know. Aps is really picky about web usage.

I'm here to tell you want to give them a reason to fire you... then surf the web..

Can't tell you how many times HR has asked for copies of my logs on specific employees to help fire them..

Avoid the web like the plague... And if they tell you they can't read your email their lying..

Trust me.. Been in the Business for 15 years now..

sorry to hear ur banned. mattman is kinda right. depending on your companies internal policies, surfing can be indeed a reason to be terminated. our policy states that all company x equipment is to be used for business purposes only. our internet access agreement also states same and additionally sttes that abuse/misuse is cause for termination. and all data and information is also sole property of company x. management does not see it as so much a risk factor then a productivity factor in your case (would be my guess). it is easy for a company to determine internet usage and duration using third party toolds like webtrends et. al. being logged in all day probably did it 4 u (another guess).
