Personalized plates

Ok, who in California snagged "RX 8" for their license plate? I tried it out on the DMV website and it says it's no longer available. What other personalized plates are some of you getting?

Ha ha ha ha ha...

Eat your hearts out.

If you want the "real McCoy" you had better have ordered it at least two years ago. This puppy adorned the back end of my '99 Miata 10 A.E. for two years and now it will be placed on the *** end of a Bad Boy 8.

It's awfully clean for a plate that's been on the back of a car for two years. :p

I am between a rock and a hard place. I can't decide if I should go for seven letters/numbers or 4 or 5.

Here's the deal. I really love this limited edition plate here:

http://www.dmvnv.com/images/lvcentennial.jpg

Unfortunately there is only room for 4 or 5 numbers otherwise I can get this plate:

http://www.dmvnv.com/images/personalized.jpg

with up to 7 letters/numbers.

So with that in mind I am looking at the following choices plus any cool ones that come up here.

MY8
R8 (I'M MARRIED)
OUR8
GR88
GR8RX8
RGR8RX8
RX8
RRX8
OURRX8
04RX8 (first year)
2004RX8 ""
MYRX8
LVRX8 (Las Vegas)
ZOOM
ZOOMN
ZOOM
IBZOOMN
B12ZOOM
ZOOZOOM
UWANT12
IROTORY
MYROTOR
WEZOOM

Right now I am torn between GR88, RX8, ZOOMN, AND IBZOOMN.

The family likes the last one best.

You're right! This is actually the front plate that has never been on a car. I used the other one on the Miata and saved this for my collection. While we are suposed to run both front and back plates in Texas, I haven't for over 13 years on a number of cars and have never been sropped. I hope my luck doen't run out.:p

Actually, that photo was taken on a black chair. I'm still waiting for a car to hang it on.

I don't get the reason to put RX-8 on your plate. It's like putting "Mustang" on your Mustang. Yeah the car already says that, so tell me something I don' t know. "RX8" is still available at the Nebraska DMV but I'll try to come up with something clever, I'm thinking REVN9K.

I have SPEEE DE. But I've had it for years and I am transferring it from my Vigor.

God help me from speeding now!
