You should post it on the SoCal RX Club, I'm pretty sure they're down to roll too. Their forum's been pretty dead recently after all the SevenStock stuff died down so this might be a change for them.

Personally, i'm trying to steer this event away from being a gathering of elitests (i realize that's probably going to be nearly impossible with car guys). I believe it's that kind of been a mentality that has isolated us from a lot of things in the past. The way i figure it is we already have events that we celebrate on our own - i don't want to compete or be compared to any of those.

I just wanna make this a starting point for people this year - if other people know there are other people out there that wanna hang out n' kick it then it should increase the chances of more things to come this year.

I agree that it's definitely gonna be a risk to openly invite anybody to come out. I realized that when i made this thread....which is why i specifically stated Enthusiasts =/= ricers. I also realized not many can tell which is which so i'm actually anticipating some backlash from this regardless.

...i'm just hoping our crowd (the crowd that i know best) outweighs the unknown's n' the random's. Crowd control is difficult to pull off as one person but if we (our crowd) are on the same page, i'm hoping it'll be a lot easier to lock things down.... (see how i worked that "participation" thing in there?

btw, drinks will not be allowed at the park. According to the guidelines i'm gonna have to sign an agreement that no alcoholic beverages can be present otherwise i get slapped with a fine.

 

no dis respect but do think that people are honestly going to give a **** about "the rules" like drinking or smoke weed, people from other crews or newbeees dont relize that. And turely they have no respect that your trying to put something together and so that we get a good name and maybe we can keep the meeet runnin so that we DONT MAKE IT HOT with all the 05 (cops) plus think about it every ricer that rolls threw is going to rev super hard til all 2 of ther pistons shoot out or there gonna try to burn out............ i think we should keep it ROTOR MOTOR.
