**Imo, since this event is barely in it's infancy i'd rather just keep it as a humble get-together amonst fellow enthusiasts n' see where it goes from here I figure this should generate a big buzz to hold us over for the real PARTY...Sevenstock 15

i can't wait for seven stock! well...i can because my car isn't ready yet, but it should be awesome!

at least this mini-meet should prove our community is still alive and well =]

 

 

mannn, it's tough any where you live imo...socal is like a haven for car enthusiasts but over the last couple of years, pulling people together n' having them check their ego's at the door has been like pulling teeth.....some feel they're above the crowd...some feel that others are elitests and suck the fun out of things...some feel like the purists are too narrow minded...some feel like others are immature and stupid...n' some just don't feel like they should acknowledge anybody at any time of the day...

It's a pain in the *** hearing the excuses on why people don't wanna come together n' personally i'm sick of it. So one day I decided to put my money where my mouth is n' paid the city of Buena Park $150 to lock down a public park location for me and anybody else who wants to join me for cookout in my area just to see who is willing and able to set aside every excuse they have in their book to come out and have some fun. I don't care if your rotary is brand new, busted up or decked out - if you love it n' you're willing to share it, i wanna see it...because throughout the ownership of my car it has been all three . I realize people have certain obligations like work, family, medical etc...n' i'm cool with that....i'm not gonna knock them for what they have to do (DO WORK Mentality n' i respect that)...I'm just looking for those that CAN come out to simply come out n' prove me right for having faith...

 

I was actually trying to make a surprise visit and do Easter with my friends in West LA... butttttt that would push my build back into never going to get finished land.

 

^WTF!? duuuude. that would've been epic! Me n' a couple others were gonna head out to DTF that weekend...

damn Atilla ... ok ok ... lol .... will make every effort to get the brakes and wheels bearings all around done this weekend and reschedule the meeting with CCLV (location for WHiV5) once completed will mapquest (edit: done - 275 mi, 4 hours 36 mins)and see if we can make it ... but if we fail don't hold it against us
