I only know of the LAX Area meet and the San Bernardino meets

There was one in Tustin that tried to be started up but I think there was a major lack in interest

 

the tustin meet consists of a bunch of hard parkers and punk kids. Never go back again.

Hey I live in Brea which is not too far from you! We should start up an OC meet! Theres also a pretty fun course around here through a road called canyon which leads to Rowland Heights, its pretty fun!

 

hey! come to autobacs on the 3rd there is a rx-7 meet and any rx8 that wants to come is more than welcome there is free food!

 

The Autobacs in like Garden Grove area right? I went there once and some civic guy bombarded me with questions about the rotary. He then asked about the torque in the car and laughed when i told him.

i'd show up to a OC meet if we ever got it down but my 8's kinda hurting right now -

 

SB meet rules! Yeah, it's a little bit of a drive from OC but the drives are always a blast.

LAX meet rocks if you want to see a million cars and all kinds of mods.

 

Their haven't been any civics at the autobacs meet since i restarted it. but about the civic guy laughing at your torque numbers, i raced a civic guy once and his mouth dropped when i told him the numbers my car was running (160hp and 120torque)

 

So is it the one near Garden Grove? The bigggg one? Im sorry I dont know if there are other ones >_> What if the 7 guys laugh that i dont gots a turbo T-T

 

this one is on the border of garden grove and stanton. the one you might be thinking of is the artesia meet on mondays. and about the turbo bit most of the guys that go to this meet are n/a. we welcome the turbo guys too. All the people are laid back no one does anything stupid and theres free food.

Besides the Autobacs meet, would anyone like to meet up in the OC area? Maybe just chill at Downtown Brea and talk cars? I dont know haha

 

I go to UCI and live in irvine. I would definatly be down to start up a meet somewhere in the OC. Maybe even go for a run down canyon. I'm sure others are down so we should find a good meeting place.
P.S. Anyone know any good places to drive in irvine. I was once told that there was a track at the old el toro airforce base but im not sure if this is true. Anyone know?

 

Yay! Canyon run sounds great! Hmm for a meeting area...Somewhere where we can maybe grab a bite and just chill? BTW I did a search on that El Toro airforbase and couldnt find much about it except there was an Import Car Event there and I think it is used as a track also?

 

I'm down for a OC meet. Brea or Irvine works fine for me. Since everyone is talking about those two places

 

I see your from Buena Park, hehe Brea is pretty close by you! The only time I actually go to Irvine is for the Irvine Spectrum and Im sure people only go by the Brea Bubble when they need to go to the mall or just go to the promenade. But Canyons a fantastic road !

 

Yeah, thats why its cool to meet in brea but i work in irvine so it doesn't matter to me. i just go the 8 so i would love to see what everone have done to their cars. i go to brea to play pool at diamonds billards

I'm done to go to brea cuz I live in Chino Hills let set something up, Ive been to other 8 meets with 3-4 RX-8 (Horrible), but if you guys wonna go to brea lets do it!

 

about those torque numbers, lower torque means higher rpm,i thinks its all about horsepower, took an is300 and how much torque do those have, compared to the 8??no performce behind a civic,haha .fast car, but fast corners?

 

how about we meet at the beach and get some fresh air. Newport beach pier have a lot of parkings n you don't have to pay for it after 6pm. Something different...we can cruise down pch afterward.. or we can meet at starbuck on brookhurst and Edinger in Fountain Valley..plenty of parking there too. Next Friday or Saturday night would be cool if anyone is down with it.

Come on you 8 guys you should try the autobacs meet dozer came out and two other guys and they were hit up by a lot of us 7 guys about their cars (hint:this could be you) and coming up soon we'll be doing something for sevenstock so that should be interesting too.
