It's tonight. We've had no problems. The cops HAVE kicked out the ricer Honda's that have shown up but they have no issues with us at all. The manager of Sonic's has even come out and talked with the cops saying he's ok with us being there, but the people who burn out, thump music, etc. are to be kicked out.

I've been.. around. My car was smashed in to May 18th, so I was without my car till last week, I HATE AMERICAN CARS. Omfg. I've NEVER had to drive an American car before so.. wow, major quality difference. The Chevy Cobalt makes the Ford Focus look NICE, but both make my Scion look more than $16k lol. Photos

Car drives ok now but I have a scratchy/sand papery sound when I accelerate

Women.. well, there IS a club across the street so you will see slightly drunk girls running around giggling waiting for the club to open. There have been a few times where they have worn veeery skimpy outfits haha. Dunno, I usually look at the boys. ;D

how long do you have the cobalt for?? hopefully not long - i drove a standard one the other day and i almost felt bad for the entire community - they say the top of the line model is legit but i seriously woud never even consider owning one by just the styling alone...

I had the Focus for about 3 weeks, body shop lied to me saying car was done, got the Cobalt for another week.

The first post from today was on my BB, but I'm using my computer now :P

Different Scion folks with some of the same mixed in. We've had Subbie's show up, Yaris people, Matrix people, etc. I don't really go anymore since my car looks.. naked without the black vinyl on (waiting for paint to cure supposedly) but going tonight since I'm bored.

pfft - i have every reason not to show up - i drive a rotary...i have like a billion excuses...

-Oil leak
-busted a seal
-overheating
-low compression on a rotor
-clunking sound by front struts
-low on oil
-had to get gas
-don't have money for gas because i spent all my money on gas

etc.

i got excuses for days




seriously though - i'll see what i can do - i gotta house sit for my brother so i gotta be sure not to stay out for too long...

I was thinking of getting a VW Rabbit actually but eh, it's VW so.. probably not. Most everything is out of my price range, basically $19k and lower Would really love a Subbie but even ones with 50k mi on them are super expensive!

An rx8 would be too pricey to insure, I think, not sure p:


Excuses.. LAME. Get under your car and fix the oil issues; siphon gas out of an American car (no locking gas doors ftw) and WHAM, almost there!

 

dude...rx8's are the best to insure - 5 star crash test rating plus some of us can get away with filing it as a sedan instead of a coupe

only problem will be resale value the 04-08 models have really come down in price too...some people sellin' em' for like 12k otd

oooooo another car to consider that's around 19k would be a 2010 mazda 3 - i got to drive one around for 3 days - i freakin' loved it - so far my favorite daily driver - very comfortable ride and a lot of cool ish to mess with. People can do it in the back seats too!! Not that i know anything about that

or the old school mazda 3's 04-09's are legit too mazdaspeed 3's are pretty cool too


p.s. - i'm not sayin' i have issues with my car - i'm just sayin' those are typically all believable excuses for rotary owners not to attend **** - i could say i have an oil leak some where and more than likely, i'm telling the truth lol -
