dude! i was gonna call you about it too - but i didn't wanna be a bother since i don't have any real information on what might be causing some probs other than a weird howl/whistle/whine at like 6-8k and some power loss. At first i thought it was my cone filter being loose because it's happened once before and produced a similar sound - but i checked it and nothing wrong - i got it scanned (because i have a cel from my broken cat) and no beans aside from the p0420 - i did some research and all i got was info about noise from the axel (not it) and something about my tranny - i really hope it's not my tranny because it has slipped once before - but i'm wondering if it would make this kinda noise only at high rpms?? and the noise isn't there when i'm cruising - only when i push it to red-line -
