Adictive- Thanks again for the dynamat. I finished the last part of my car with it (the roof). Now every thing is dynamatted. The stuff you gave me was much thinner than the stuff I used on the rest of the car, it made it much easier to install.

I found the LoJack unit in our car the other day. It's a very obvious box... damn dealer didn't do a very good job of hiding it; I could disable it without any tools in about 30 seconds. I'm not going to post where it is, but if you'd like to know, ask me at the next meet.

 

But the Lojack is placed in a different spots for different cars. :P

 

Yeah, it just depends on the dealer/installer.

 

I dont have lojack. I dont think... Thats what insurance is for

 

I didn't get a choice, my dealer installed them on every RX-8 as soon as they were loaded off the truck. They said it was cheaper to do them all rather then have it as an option.

I got it there too.. without the Lojack.. then I negotiated it.. AFTER the final price to add the Lojack.

They don't, mine is a 77'. I rebuilt the engine and tranny last summer. Its got a new carb, piston, fenders, seat... and other stuff. It was a fun summer project. Here is a picture of me...
