dam it people can i put a lcd screen i the car???if not where can i get a good system with 1x12inch sub and amp....no super boom for me just a lil dump in the trunk for me lol....

 

Having the holes filled would be good enough, no need for paint because it won't be seen. At this point though, how would I pull the wing off and reattach...I would have to get all new 3m tapes. I guess that is a little price to pay to get away from the fear of having a flooded trunk lid....and eventually rust.

PM me with your nephews shop location, and maybe a price to pull the wing off, fill holes, and reapply 3m tape...

That's part of the reason I don't even go to the Thursday meets... seems a bit childish and attracting unwanted attention from the cops. I'm way too old to get pulled over because someone else was doing something silly.

I'm pretty sure the Pat & Oscar place is a no go from now on because the police will just keep kicking us off.

Btw, I saw a huge group of Scions meet in Cerritos Tonight (Wednesday) at the Carrows off of South Street.. across from the Huge Target. Was pretty cool... lots of fixed up Scion xBs, tCs, and a few xAs. They were eating inside the joint... kinda wish that's how the Thursday meets are, instead of only sitting in the parking lot blasting loud music or reving our engines to hell.

 

Ouch!, you wish we were like Scion owners? Dude, that hurts.

Nah, I just wish the meet wasn't just about blasting loud music, trashing other cars, and causing a scene in an otherwise quiet parking lot. :P It's just not my thing for a meet... rather just hang out, chit chat about mods, and go grab a bite to eat.. and make all the commotion in that place. Such as the case in the Scion meet.

Nothing wrong with Scions btw. They have some of the most hardcore owners there are... second only to us Rotary owners

Ever so often, I would see two Scion owners acknowledging each other.. and the only other car I've seen that happening is with us Rotary peoples. It doesn't really work with the Civic owners, or the 350z, or the S2000... etc

 

Not Hate, just saying what I don't like at a meet... and that's having the police run us off a parking lot. :P

Kinda reminds me of the time at Fullerton In N Out.. now that was crazy. Do you really think people would want to come to a meet knowing the police will come and hassle with us? What's the point in that?

Bumping your cars in parking lots reminds me of 1989. Too old school, too much attention. No one likes!!

 

Trust me, I've been cited for having no front plates in a Parking lot before.. and that's because that police is just people too. Next thing you know, they cited my friend with the lower car, and his exhaust. etc etc etc... It happens.

Go to Fullerton In N Out and you'll see it happening...

 

In case everyone forgot (who was there) There was NOBODY around when we started bumping our music. The only people that were there were the rent-a-cops. How the hell could we have know that someone was complaining since we saw no one there to complain. I dont want these meets to fizzle away! I dont know about you guys, but I look forward to them. I suggest we find a new place, somewhere where there are a lot of people, keep the music and revving down (dionne), and hang out like good little boyz (razz). Seriously guys, lets figure something out.

Personally, I dont give a rats *** hole what a rent-a-cop tells us to do, and honestly I couldnt care less about the cops since we broke NO LAWS except loitering. Reving and Bumping are misdemeanors and Misdemeanors must be witnessed by an officer in order to be cited. But thats just me...

 

We could alaways try a different mall....like the Brea mall. We could park near the BJ's restaraunt, and if we get hassled, we could always go inside for a drink...or couple. The mall is close to the 57 and 91...so it should be convenient for everyone...?

I would rather like to avoid Pat & Oscars as I don't want the hassle, or fear of potential hassle. I'm with keeping the meets. I also look forward to them...it gives me something to look forward to midweek.

The place will be closed by the time people arrive there though... to Pat and Oscars. We meet at 9pm, the place is closed. Perhaps a Chili or TGIF or something.. or BJs (But that place gets a bit overcrowded.)

What is that restraunt across from P&O? Isn't it Chili's?

The manager has nothing to do with the parking lot. We need approval from security or the landlord. WRITTEN APPROVAL, that way there is no disputes and the rent-a-cop cant roll over on us.
