Thumbs up Oak Tree Mazda

I took my car to Oak Tree Mazda in San Jose for an oil change and a problem with film in the front headlights and condensation in the rear taillights. They changed the oil (5W-20) and ordered new headlights, but said they couldn't verify the problem with the rear taillights. The condensation of course only occurs under the right climate conditions, but I can see from their point of view why they can't just take my word for it. I have to bring my car back once the headlights arrive.

No door dings, no unusual mileage on the car, none of the horror stories reported here about other dealers. Knock on wood -- I still have to go back!

Problem with dealer isn't about joyride or paint scratches.

Mazda dealer simply aren't trained to fix rotary engine and diagnose issue properly. This results in a lot of engine replacements bc they simple swap parts to hopefully fix things.

In fact, most dealers do this since they get paid more labor and car owners don't care since car is under warranty. However, when your warranty expires, your wallet will bleed until you go to a rotary specialist that knows how to fix these cars.

In that case, does anyone know of a good rotary mechanic in the San Jose area? I haven't had any problems with the engine so far, but I guess I should know where to get the engine fixed once the warranty expires.
