Nor Cal Dyno Day Feeler
Alright, well I will make this happen if Lythor doesnt. 2 1/2 months should give him plenty of time, but I would expect that a location needs to be secured and cost amounts need to be set in the next 2 weeks, and money needs to start changing hands in the next month.

I'll probably fly, unless Lisa and I are making a mini-vacation out of it.
We probably wont, since we will be in San Louis Obisbo in June for the big Mazda Meet.
Ultimately, it is cheaper to fly (usually).

Yeah, I'm pretty much a wine-hater.
I can't drink wine in this country. Tastes like crap and always gives me a headache.
That said, weather is a big component in the trip and a drive isn't out of the question if its two of us.

Because I'm a Euro-snob and having grown up on home-made wines from the Mediterranean, its really hard to drink the sulfite-strewn crap they brew in this country.
Well, I know its not the sulfites, but whatever it is, it hurts my head almost immediately.

Question for Jeff:
How much time dyno on average is needed per vehicle?
Dyno only?
Dyno and AP tune NA?
Dyno and AP Tune FI?
With 9 vehicles, 3 FI tunes and 6 NA tunes I was thinking that might be a full day. I figured 45 minutes for every NA tune = 4.5 hours and 1 hour for the FI tunes = 3 hours. That brings us up to 7.5 hours and most shops rent the dyno out for an 8 hour block, so we would have an extra 30 minute block open.

if you're moving quickly and have people organized, I usually budget the following way.
Dyno only (3 pulls) = 30 mins
Dyno + N/A Tuning = 45 minutes
FI tuning = 1 hour each, minnimim. FI cars can be "temperamental" so you need to be prepared to allow more time.
What type of dyno also plays a role since you need to factor in time to strap the cars down, take them off the dyno, etc.

prepay is a great way to make sure people show up
To Jeff, Jedi, and any of the BHR guys who want to show up.. you can all crash at my house while here. More then enough room for everybody.

Well I don't want to step on your toes, this was started by you, so how about you keep it going. fFind a location, get the prices for the Dyno and Jeff, and start a new thread with all the details. If you don't want to handle the money, I can do that. My paypal account has the lower business fee anyways. I'm thinking $50 reserves a persons spot, but all money needs to be in 4 weeks before the event. If you ask for the whole amount now, people always wait to commit.
I wonder if anyone would be interested in someone coming out to do corner balancing and alignements? Hopefully the shop we get would have some extra room and if the interest is there I have someone in mind that can help you dial in your suspension.
