CA newbie wanting to buy, need help

so im planning on getting an rx8, I've really like them since the beggining and well now is time for me to get one (hopefully).
i just have a couple of questions, and need you guys' help.

1st off- what should i be on the look out when buying an 8, any major problems and stuff ( i know the basics of buying cars and stuff, this would be my 7th car).

2nd.- I'm doing my research on rotary engines and stuff, but would u guys be kind enough to give me some hints and info on this engines (are they the same as any other type of engines, etc etc)

3rd, my price range is up to 10k, so with that in mind what do you guys consider fair on a car.

and well 4th, if you have one for sale hit me up, im in the SGV/SFV and LA area.

welcome sir....ok first off 10k is not easy to work with your going to end up with an 04 or 05 maybe....just look for good maintanence record and if modified then still under warrenty...also if it has high mileage I would get the compression checked.

The car is not very fuel efficient which is something to keep in mind...and is pretty demanding with the oil...so its really just maintenence to worry about.

when you get in your car and smile ... you care less about fuel cost

also compression check!

Go buy Street Rotary by Mark Warner... That should teach you a decent chunk about rotaries and how to maximize reliability of it
