Newbie here!

Hey everyone! I'm new to this club. I just recently bought an 05 RX-8. I was thinking about different cars to buy but decided on the RX-8 since I got a great deal on it for a low mileage car. I have always wanted one and now I'm excited to have one. Looking forward to being a part of this group.

i live in Las Vegas, NV.

Welcome. The car runs? If it does, it won't for long.

Did you get a compression test before you bought it? How many miles are on it?

Buying any used car without a compression test is not recommended. Buying a used RX-8 without a compression test is not smart unless you are budgeting $3,000.00-$5,000.00 for an engine rebuild. You need to do your research.

Well i got a warranty on it so I'll be good. Thanks, all used cars always have some cautious with it.

You might want to call mazda north america or check at the local dealer and see if you are still under the 8 year 100k mile warranty, if so get a compression check just to be sure before it runs out.

What kind of warranty did you get with the car? Was it certified pre-owned or something?
