I just bought a 2004 RX-8 with 30k miles (13k)...and burned the entire tank of gas playing with her over the weekend.

Welcome from Campbell. Whatever you, especially in this cold weather, don't start your engine and turn it off UNTIL it warms us. It WILL flood and you'll be stuck. My son has owned his RX8 for 3 years now and yesterday he started the engine late at night, forgot his wallet, shut off engine, ran in the house, grabbed his wallet and now......the engine is flooded. Just about the only downside to an RX-8, other than that he Loves it.

 

I read about that and have been weary about trip times and turning off the engine too soon.

It's taken me some time to get used to the car. Literally the only cars I have driven before have been BMW e36/46 3 series.
