new to south bay
Hi everyone,
bought my rx8 new 9 months ago at glendale mazda, but recently moved to mountain view, in the San Francisco bay area.
My car is due an oil change, and there is a rumbling from the rear end, esp when going fast on a sweeping curve. I'd like that looked at.
So I need a good mechanic to look at it, and treat me well! I called up M***o Park Mazda and they were not very understanding: "Yea, that's why it's called a one-way shuttle. You get back to the dealer (when your car is ready) by a co-worker or family member." (Thanks for nothing.)
Any dealer recommendations in the bay or south bay area?
Sorry if this question crops up a lot.

Welcome to the View! Come join us in the Bay Area/Nor Cal thread. We meet up every Friday night in Union City to hang out and get dinner.
I would recommend Putnam Mazda. I took my car to Hayward Mazda to get my starter and battery replaced under the TSB and they gave me so much **** for my aftermarket parts, and their tech there had no idea what he was doing. I took it back to Putnam and they replaced the starter and battery with no problems and even complimented me on all the work I had done to the car.

I have taken mine to Almaden Mazda for its oil change. They were good. I wouldn't take it to Jiffy Lube.
