Hello to the RX-8 community.

I just took delivery of a brand new Gray RX-8 Shinka Edition from Irvine Mazda yesterday

I really like the look of the car, and I am pretty happy with it so far. I thought about purchasing the s2000, but since it was a two seater and I go out with my family very often, it was not suitable for me at the time. I hope the RX-8 drives the same, if not better than the s2000.

Pros:

9k redline
great body shape, and curves
handles well
A lot more, but I'm am sure you guys already know

Cons:

Tail lights. The Pros outweigh the cons by a huge margin though,


I look forward to meeting some of you guys at meets, and cruises. If there is a thread specifically for SoCal members, please let me know.

Welcome! There are various threads in this sub-forum just for SoCal. There's one called "San Diego 8's", "Irvine People", etc...

There's a small meet in Irvine on wednesday the 14th at the Irvine Spectrum in case you're around that area.

anyways, we are having a meet in irvine spectrum on wednesday march 14th around 7:30. It is in irvine so come along and just get to know all of us. it'll be fun hahah
