hey everyone quik intro...

just got my brand new 07 BB RX-8 about a month ago... absolutely love it. its my first stick too!!! i call it my "afordable" dream car cause i can't afford an Enzo.

I work out of San Diego (i'm Navy) and do the drive every weekend to Los Angeles (home town hawthorne). i gotta go see my mom and all my friends.

I wish i could attend the meet in L.A. cause i'm so close to LAX but Wednesday is a bad day cause its a 140 mile trip... one way.

All i gotta say is i'm a die hard mazda fan... my first car was an MX-3... treted her really good... and then a Protege5... treated her bad... i never let off the gas pedal... died at 104000 miles... have had the RX-8 now about a month and half... already 5500 miles... i treat her alright.

well i guess thats it for now...

Which base? I'm guessing you're at the amphib base or north island?

I was on the island 1.5 years ago. Recently paid a visit and was surprised to see so many RX8 now. I saw 2 in one day.

 

Hey I'm a new guy on the forum... but have been playing with Mazdas since I was 15... I've had 4 RX-7's and got my first 8 about 2 months ago... I work out of 32nd street if you see a pearlie rolling around with dark tint and no spoiler thats me...

 

Haven't seen your white, but met a gray one dryside. He had a Borla exhaust with K&N Typhoon 2 intake, and when he revved it, I was surprised at how it sounded. It still had a "rotary" signature.

 

Yeah my boat is in dry dock right now so I haven't been on the base for about a month or so... were about to get out of dry dock so maybe I'll see you around...
